Who hosts the ball?
A non-partisan, non-profit committee consisting of citizen volunteers from the greater Olympia area. The committee is not part of state government nor is the event funded by taxpayer dollars.
Where is the ball held?
The Ball is held at the Legislative Building on the Capitol Campus - Olympia, WA.
What time does the ball begin?
Guests can enter the event at 7 PM. A formal program begins in the Rotunda of the Legislative Building at 8 PM. Tickets are required for entry into the event. Visit our Tickets page to purchase tickets.
Where do I pick up will call tickets?
Will Call will be located at the Main Ball Entrance at the Cherry Street entrance to the Flag Circle. Visit our Tickets page to see a map.
What is the correct attire?
Formal attire is appropriate but business attire is acceptable. Visit our Attire page.
What accommodations are available in Olympia?

Where is parking available?
Parking is limited on Capitol Campus and Downtown. To accommodate guests attending the event, Intercity Transit will be operating a revised shuttle schedule from 6 PM-12 AM for the Inaugural Ball. Visit our Parking page for more information.
What food will be served?
Delicious hors d' oeuvres and desserts prepared by Washington State top chefs and their apprentices. Visit our Menu page.
Will alcohol be available?
Yes, a selection of Washington wines will be served.
Will there be security?
Yes, leave all weapons at home. Since this is a private party, guns are not allowed even if you have a concealed weapons permit.
